Movie producer Adanma Luke and actor Nosa Rex have responded to actress Ruby Ojiakor’s allegations of disrespecting the memory of the late actor Junior Pope.
Adanma produced the movie The Other Side of Life which led to the death of Junior Pope and some crew members.
Ruby posted a video on Instagram on Sunday, June 2 showing her in a church setting dressed in a white garment with a rosary, stepping out of a car.
She said she came to church to pray for Junior Pope and to let him know that Nosa Rex had started using him for content.
Continuing, she said, “Again, @adanmaluke, instead of feeling guilty for what happened to you and others, she was busy telling the whole world how you were begging her for jobs. I believe you can now understand better how wicked the world is…”
Displeased with the post, Adanma Luke responded on Monday, June 3 on Instagram Story by describing Ruby Ojiakor as the real content creator who carries a camera everywhere.
She wrote, “The one that carries a camera everywhere she goes. The real content creator. Only God sees our hearts, but for now, I won’t push further because you no reach. I have had worse things from better people. RUBY.”
Nosa Rex, on his part, explained on Instagram that the video he made of a movie director forcing him to dive into a river was to send a message to other actors and not to chase clout.
“Dear Ruby. Normally I don’t owe any explanation for the video. But I will let you know so that people will read. That video was a real situation on set. I refused to enter the water and they had to change the entire script. I was trying to pass a message and I am sure some people saw the message.
“But it is you that loves JP too much, so you decided to call me out. Madam respect yourself, try not to piss me off. I won’t warn you again. For the people wey really know me, I be content myself, I no dey chase am,” he said.
