Repentant Maje Ayida pens birthday message to wife, Toke Makinwa

A sober Maje Ayida on Tuesday wrote a heart-warming message to wish his estranged wife, Toke Makinwa, a happy birthday.

The wellness coach posted a picture of Toke cuddling a dog along with expressions like “stunning wife” and “incredible woman”.

Recalling Toke’s beginning on the radio, he reminded he said the words “I love you” and wished her a spectacular day.

In June 2015, reports swirled that Maje had impregnated another woman named Anita Solomon who he had allegedly been dating for about eight years.

Toke has since refused to comment on the current status of her marriage, instead she told Hip TV “You guys just wait and see, and watch and see. There is nothing to say. That part of my life is not open for discussion.”

A week ago, she also shared a post on Instagram where she wrote “Starting over is scary but staying the same is suicide. I will rather take my chance”.

Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida got married in a private ceremony in Lagos on January 15, 2014 after about 12 years of dating.
