Actress and filmmaker Lala Akindoju has announced the death of her father, Williams Akindoju, who died on December 20, 2024, at the age of 71.
The 31-year-old shared her sorrow on Instagram on Tuesday, reflecting on the emotional journey of starting the year with her father and ending it without him.
“Sometimes, you think you’re ready, but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a PRESENT & LOVING parent like my daddy. Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy,” she wrote in a heartfelt post.
Lala also posted a memorial graphic to honor her late father.
However, she did not disclose the cause of his death.
