Actress Juliana Olayode has defended gospel singers Moses Bliss and Theophilus Sunday’s decision to marry non-Nigerian women.
Theophilus surprised his fans and followers when he unveiled Ashlee White, a Jamaican real estate owner as his wife-to-be on social media on Tuesday.
This comes after Moses Bliss got married to his Ghanaian wife Marie Wiseborn.
Conversations around their decision to marry outside their country have been circulating on the internet.
Speaking in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Juliana knocked those criticising the gospel singers for marrying other African women.
“Let them go where the Lord leads them, our own is to be happy for them and wish them well, not being angry,” she said in the video she posted.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, a user wrote: “One go Ghana .. another don go jamaica .. wetin be Naija offense.”
“@woomie_collectibles wherever they marry from, is not our business we are all children of God at the end of the day. Black, white, Jamaica, Ghana, India, anywhere…… Our duty is to be happy for them, wish them well and pray for them,” Juliana Olayode.
