Arsenal cruised to an emphatic 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night in the English Football League Cup to advance to the fourth round.
It was a totally one-sided affair at the City Ground as Arsene Wenger’s side proved their dominance over the Championship outfit thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez (brace) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Despite the mauling, a Nottingham Forest fan still thought of a way of making Wenger feel more comfortable – by offering the Frenchman a pie.
The man jumped the hoardings during the first half of the game and tried to approach the Gunners boss holding a pie in a polystyrene tray.
His gesture came shortly after Xhaka had given Arsenal the lead with a long-range strike that may have caused the supporter to lose his appetite.
However, Wenger had to go hungry as the fan was quickly stopped by members of the coaching staff and then ushered away by security.
