The last time we heard about Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, she was marketing skin and hair care brand, Eden’s Theory
She is, however, staging a comeback to the big screen in Silvertown, a feature film shot in London, slated for premiere in Nigeria on August 26 at Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos.
That is a prelude to the film’s premiere and release in the United Kingdom and other African countries.
Silvertown is the story of a desperate sojourner faced with the most difficult situation of her life as she is denied asylum in the United Kingdom and confronted by the stiff stance of betrayal from a beloved friend. All hell breaks loose as she fights to survive.
The movie also stars Seun Akindele, Anthony Mojaro, alongside British actors Lucien Morgan, Amanda Larakay and Atlanta Johnson.
Produced by Vanessa Mails and Mathew Nwankwo, it is directed by Chinedu Omorie
It will be released in cinemas nationwide on September 2, 2016.
