Actress Monalisa Chinda has said the numbers of those who kidnapped her colleagues Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel can be traced.
Monalisa said this in an Instagram post on Monday while praying for their safe return.
She wrote: “I don’t understand how people would think that Actors have money… with the paltry sum we receive as fees? The struggle through life vicissitudes, health issues etc we face every now n then??? $100k from where? The numbers that were used to communicate with them can easily be traced… I mean. The search is on.”
Qed.ng on Friday reported that actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, popularly known as Agbogidi, were declared missing.
The actors were reported missing after their family members confirmed they did not come back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State.
According to the national president Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas said the kidnappers are demanding a $100k ransom to free Cynthia and Clemson.
