Abdulmaleek Uthman, son of music executive Obama DMW, has penned a heartfelt note in memory of his father who was buried in Epe, Lagos.
Abdul who takes after his father facially took to his Instagram account to pen an emotional text on Wednesday.
“Dad, I won’t immortalize you in the stars, because they fade away. I won’t remember you with a poem, for it will be forgotten one day. I will just keep you safe in my heart, so that you are with me in every way. I miss you,” Abdul wrote.
Abdulmaleek, on January 29, posted a showreel of himself and his father to celebrate the latter’s birthday with a lengthy caption which reads in part; “Hearty birthday, dear Daddy! From the core of my heart, I want to let you know how grateful I am for all the valuable lessons that you have imparted in me. Soon I’ll be giving you all you want in life.”
Lots of celebrities have trooped to his page to condole with him.
