Entrepreneur Obi Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana on Monday celebrated pop star Davido on his 30th birthday, praying that his “infectious smile” would return quickly.
Davido, who is still mourning his son Ifeanyi, turned 30 on Monday.
Obi Cubana posted to Instagram a video of himself and Davido and called on the youths to join in praying for Davido.
He wrote, “Dear Youth!! Today let’s wish OBO a happy 30th birthday. Let’s pray that his infectious smile returns immediately. Let’s pray that God restores all he has lost and add plenty more to him.
“OBO is a happy soul, he doesn’t deserve anything less than pure love and happiness! Happy birthday King @davido.”
Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool on November 1 at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, police have confirmed.
The boy had only celebrated his third birthday days before the tragic incident. His death has left his father Davido and mum Chioma Rowland heartbroken and off social media.
