Socialite Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana has reopened his Abuja club Hustle and Bustle two weeks after closing it over the death of a client.
The club announced its reopening on Instagram, with an event themed Splurge taking place at the venue on Saturday night.
The announcement e-flier read, “We are back. We are open to serve you better.”
As caption, the club wrote, “We are back with only one purpose; to serve you better. Drop by and share in the experience.”
The club had on Thursday said in a statement that the female clubber “tripped and fell” some metres to the car park and became unconscious, adding that she died on the way to the hospital.
The club’s position was contrary to reports that the clubber simply identified as Susan was electrocuted.
The management of the dance club said it refrained from making any statement since the incident occurred on November 14 to mourn with the bereaved family and allow the police investigate the incident.
