Real estate mogul Kennedy Okonkwo on Wednesday night proposed again to his wife Ichechi Okonkwo of 12 years at a gathering in London, United Kingdom.
The University of Ibadan-schooled businessman, who is a friend of socialite Obi Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana, went on his knees in a video posted by himself, his wife and Obi Cubana on Instagram, to ask his wife to marry him again for the next 100 years.
Ichechi was speaking with a woman about pictures when she turned around and found her husband on his knees holding forward two diamond rings.
Mr Okonkwo said his wife shaped him into the king she wanted.
“My dearest, thank you for embarking on this journey with me. My life started when I found you,” he wrote.
“Thanks so much for shaping me to become the King you wanted for your heart. Our life may not be perfect but with you our love is more than perfect for each other. This is a toast to forever. Loving you till infinity,” the founder and CEO of Nedcomoaks Limited added.
Ichechi said in her Instagram post that she was thankful for 15 years of friendship with Okonkwo and 12 years together as a couple.
“Yes he asked again and I said yes again to 100 years. Love you babe, thank you for 15 awesome years of friendship and 12 beautiful years of marriage to forever,” she wrote.
Ichechi pledged her loyalty to Okonkwo in another post where she flaunted the rings.
On his part, Obi Cubana described Ichechi as a “beautiful, super hardworking, very supportive and amazing wife.”
“Marriage is a beautiful thing, beautiful Marriages still exist! May the next 80yrs of this great union be more beautiful than the past 12yrs, amen,” he added.
Okonkwo and his wife also run a real estate company called Victoria Crest Homes.
