Gospel artiste, Obiora Obiwon, is set to unveil his latest album titled Floodgates: The Beginning of the New Overflow.
This musical project is coming three years after Obiwon’s last work, Gold Water, his second since submitting his gift to a higher calling in the Christian/gospel genre.
The Gold Water album contained notable singles ‘Testify’, ‘Pour Your Love’ and the urban gospel hit, ‘Hail My King’, which featured fellow notable Nigerian urban gospel acts Frank Edwards, Eben and Kenny K’ore.
Obiwon says “it’s been a blessing to grow and passionately go deeper into this calling and consequently make better music.”
Come November 12, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, The King’s Court, Victoria Island, Lagos, the 39-year-old and other guest music ministers will launch the new album at the Floodgates Concert.
According to the artiste, it is “a wonderful opportunity to share with you live in concert the music, stories and testimonies that have shaped my life in the past few years.”

Obiwon got married to married to Nkechi Obioma Ezeife in 2011 and together they have a daughter, Nmesioma Michelle, 4, and a son, Chimdalu Michael, 2.
