Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has approved the appointment of Dr. Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mrs Oseji’s appointment was a sequel to the retirement of Mr Reginald Bayoko, who occupied the office for almost nine years.
Her appointment was conveyed in a statement issued by Mr Charles Aniagwu, the State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information in Asaba on Monday.
Mrs Oseji, a medical doctor, was, until her appointment, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Environment and was previously permanent secretary of the Ministry of Health.
In 2020, she was elected the 22nd National President of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigerians (MWAN).
According to the statement, she would be sworn in on Monday, March 31.
