Former chairman of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Chidi Odinkalu, has taken on the governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, on developmental projects in the state.
In a tweet on Friday, Mr Odinkalu asked if anyone knew any project which was begun and completed by Mr Okorocha in his nearly eight years in office.
“If any1 knows of 1 project- just 1! – begun & finished by @realRochas in Imo State in nearly 8 yrs in office, pls put it up for verification,” Odinkalu wrote.
Okorocha was elected senator on February 23 to represent Imo West senatorial district in the National A
The governor has been at loggerheads with his party leadership, the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was recently suspended by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) led by Adams Oshiomhole for anti-party activities.
