Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has taken his mum on a holiday to Dubai.
The 31-year-old, who currently plays for Saudi club Al-Shabab, shared videos from the holiday on Instagram on Friday morning.
Describing his mother as his queen, the former Manchester United loanee said “I will do anything for her.”
Ighalo is in Dubai to rest and recharge after the 2020-21 Saudi Professional League season ended on Sunday.
He was on Thursday named Al Shabab player of the month of May after helping the club to finish second in the league, four points behind winners Al-Hilal.
Ighalo bagged a double as his Riyadh-based club ended the season with a 3-0 victory over Al-Wehda on Sunday.
His mother was recently at the stadium in Saudi to watch him play live for the first time in his 16-year professional career.
The 2019 AFCON golden boot winner scored a goal during the game and dedicated it to his mother.
“For the first time since 16 years of my professional career, mama was able to watch me play live in the stadium, one of the happiest days of my life,” he wrote in a Twitter post.
