Gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan has described the words of controversial preacher Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere aka Odumeje as a “mockey” of the Christian faith.
Odumeje has been trending over a video of him saying that he will use his “powers” to combat the current economic hardship.
In another video with Flavour, the cleric also talked about releasing all the “powers” while referring to himself as a “warlord.”
The “powers” Odumeje claims he possesses include fictitious names such as ” Cidaniel, Santus Sanatorial, Ribadu, Gandu Gagadusha, Dabush Kabash, Lebadushe Lemande, Indaboski Bahose” and “Abido Shaker” of which the latter has gone viral on social media as TikTok users have been creating content and memes with the cleric’s speech.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Monday, Dunsin who appears not to be a fan of the Prophet, condemned the video and the TikTok trends associated with it.
The gospel singer stated that the display is a mockery of the Christian faith and should be shut down.
He wrote: “Been seeing videos and people writing “abidoshaker” and the rest…Believers, the things we find funny are mockery to our faith. We should shut things like this down!
“No, it’s not funny! You will be shocked how gullible some people are! #wakeup.”
