Rapper Odomodublvck has knocked those criticising Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), for saying that the problems facing Nigeria “require spiritual solution.”
Adeboye made the statement on Sunday when he visited Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, during the RCCG crusade in the state.
“I’m in Kaduna again as it has become clear that the problems our nation is facing is more than political and will require some spiritual solution,” Adeboye said.
However, his statement provoked criticism as many objected that “Nigeria needs better policies than prayer”, while others claimed the cleric is a “fake man of God”.
But in the early hours of Monday, Odumodublvck took to his X account to drum support for Adeboye, saying he does not deserve to be insulted on social media.
The rapper cited an example with Islamic clergymen, saying “you do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics”.
The 30-year-old argued that some of the people insulting Adeboye should have it at the back of their minds that he is older than their parents.
“Pastor Adeboye never insulted no one on this app. You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics,” he wrote.
