American-Nigerian filmmaker and director Tony Abulu has announced the upcoming release of his star-studded movie, American Japa.
Tony Abulu shared trailers of the film on his Facebook page, revealing the casts and the release date.
Actors such as Kanayo O. Kanayo, Odunlade Adekola, Bolanle Ninalowo, Ronke Oshodi Oke, and Wumi Toriola on Thursday, also shared trailers of the film.
American Japa explores the lives of transactional sex workers with aspirations of escaping to the United States in search of better opportunities and a chance at a new life.
Directed and produced by Tony Abulu, American Japa will be released in cinemas nationwide on September 6.
The film also features Segun Arinze, Yemi Blaq, Jumoke Odetola, Tina Amuziam, Lizzy Jay, Shirley Igwe, Tommy Roland, and Jide Kosoko.
American Japa is a creation of Atlantic World Digital Communications.
The movie will premiere at Film House, The Palms Mall, on August 30, before its nationwide release.
