Actress Biodun Okeowo, widely known as Omoborty, has shared a video and pictures from her traditional wedding.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Omoborty posted a series of pictures featuring her and her US-based fiancé, Adeniyi Olabiyi.
The post shows the couple dressed in white traditional attires, Adeniyi in a white agbada and Omoborty in a matching iro and buba ensemble, complemented by a gele and traditional beads.
In her caption, Omoborty wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, I officially present to you Mr. and Mrs. Olabiyi. I married not just a partner, but my best friend, prayer partner, and soulmate.
“Every step we’ve taken has led us to this moment, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life loving you.”
The video compilation shared by the actress captured poignant moments from the ceremony, including Omoborty dabbing her eyes as she shed tears, kneeling, placing a cap on her fiancé, and posing for pictures with relatives.
In her video caption, Omoborty expressed her joy, stating, “Officially off the market! We’re excited to begin this new chapter on Christ the solid rock. Amen. Feel free to wish us happy married life!”
The actress also took a moment to remember her late mother, writing, “My mother continues to rest in the blossom of the Lord. I feel your presence with me.”
On Monday, she also shared a video showcasing her and her fiancé in traditional attire.
