Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, has debunked the reports that actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu, popularly known as Ogun Majek, is dead.
The 41-year-old denied the reports on Instagram on Saturday, blaming Goldmyne TV, which runs her Facebook account for the error.
She wrote, ”Let’s be guided please. This has been brought to my notice and it’s so unfortunate, cos I am not the one that manages my Facebook account it’s been like that for so many years, its goldmyne that has been running it for me…And Alhaji Ogun Majek is not dead pls, we still spoke this morning.”
Earlier on Saturday, there had been reports that the actor who is popular for his role in movies such as Iyawo Aremo (2006), Ikilo Agba (2008) and Ayé àjekú (2006), had died.
It comes after Foluke announced that her foundation, Passion Against Rape & Abuse in Africa (PARAA), had made a donation to the actor.
”PARA sent a token to one of our veterans that is not in Lagos, Baba Ogun Majek. And thank you for ur support ma @majomogaji we appreciate u,” she wrote on Instagram.
