Sylvester Ojukwu, the first son of late Igbo leader, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, has died according to multiple media reports.
The 62-year-old reportedly slumped and died at a private hospital in Lagos early on Friday night.
When contacted, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu’s widow, Bianca Ojukwu, said it was not in her place to confirm such report.
“According to our tradition, it is not my role to make such announcements. We have elders in the family, who have such duties and functions. It’s not part of my duties”, she told a Punch correspondent.
Bianca Ojukwu and Sylvester Ojukwu had been involved in a running battle over property left behind by the Ikemba Nnewi.
