Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, says he will be going into isolation after one of his daughters tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a tweet on Friday, the governor said his wife, Edith, would also be going into isolation for 14 days.
“Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days,” he said, “we will continue to keep you all updated.”
The governor did not state which of his daughters contracted the disease.
Okowa had only on Thursday celebrated the birthday of his youngest daughter whom he described as ‘excellently creative’.
