Former bread seller turned model Olajumoke Orisaguna has returned to the spotlight as she hit the runway at a fashion show in Lagos.
Olajumoke gained national attention in 2016 after photobombing a photoshoot by celebrity photographer TY Bello featuring British rapper Tinie Tempah.
At the time, she was hawking bread on the streets of Lagos.
Following her rise to fame, the model faded from the public eye for some years.
In a recent podcast, Olajumoke revealed that many people exploited her for clout and abandoned her when her relevance declined.
A new video circulating online shows Olajumoke strutting the runway at a Lagos fashion event.
While her performance has been met with applause, some social media users have raised questions about her catwalk.
A commenter identified as Ifenkili wrote, “Which kind walk be this abeg 😂.”
Another user, Belami remarked, “She’s doing good 👏👏👏👏 hope that her werey partner is out of the picture.”
Gabrielle Fassi added, “This modeling thing is not for everyone.”
Defending Olajumoke’s performance, Amaka Chilaka said, “I don’t think she catwalks ‘fast’ as some of us portray her. Have you watched models? Sometimes, uniqueness sets you apart. And mind you, Olajumoke has been in this business for long.
“Don’t you think they would have trained her on how to catwalk? Before we conclude, let’s watch all her catwalking videos, and if these steps are the same, then her catwalk is unique.”
During a November press conference organised by the Cardinal Foundation, led by Doja Allen, CEO of City 105.1 FM, Olajumoke revealed that she is currently interning at City 105.1 FM in preparation to host her show, Kílón Shéle.
Born in 1989 in Osun State, Olajumoke previously worked as a hairstylist before relocating to Lagos to sell bread and support her family.
