Rapper Olamide has become the most-streamed male artiste in Nigeria on Boomplay, beating Burna Boy and Omah Lay who placed second and third in the 2021 recap.
The announcement was made on Twitter on Tuesday by the streaming network.
Bella Shmurda was also announced as the most- searched artiste of 2021, beating Davido and Naira Marley while gospel singer Mike Abdul’s single ‘Baba Ese‘ leads as most-streamed gospel song.
Omah Lay’s ‘Godly‘ leads as most streamed song of 2021, followed by ‘Infinity’ his collaboration with Olamide, while Joeboy’s ‘Alcohol’ comes in third position.
Ruger was announced as the top rising artiste of 2021 beating Arya Starr and Tems who placed second and third.
