Ex-Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has being named manager of Dutch side, Fortuna Sittard.
The 42-year-old former Ajax midfielder follows the footsteps of ex-Super Eagles teammate, Daniel Amokachi, and Shuaibu Amodu as the only Nigerians to have worked outside the shores of the country.
Fortuna, a second division club in the Netherlands, made the appointment public on Tuesday after parting ways with ex-coach, Ben van Dael.
Dael was axed after losing 11 out of 19 games thus far in the league.
Oliseh’s immediate mission is to revive the club’s quest for survival with the side languishing in the relegation zone.
