A member of the House of Representatives, Akin Alabi, has recalled the place where Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, reportedly snubbed him in London in 2014.
The legislator, in a tweet on Monday, culled up a tweet made in 2018, which read: “The Atrium at The Landmark Hotel Marylebone Road.”
Mr Alabi then wrote: “I love this spot and I can’t forget it. The same place Thierry Henry snubbed me SIX YEARS ago.”
This is not the first time the House of Representatives’ member will be speaking about the alleged snub.
Alabi did same in April while responding to Welsh football pundit, Robbie Savage, who tweeted that he would be meeting Henry’s representatives to finalise plans to auction the former France international’s 100th Arsenal goal shirt.
Henry wore the number 14 shirt at Arsenal, scoring 174 goals in 254 appearances.
The 42-year-old currently manages Major League Soccer club, Montreal Impact.
