National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olu Falae, has announced his retirement from active politics.
Falae has also resigned his position as party chairman.
He made the announcement on Friday morning, citing health challenges as the reason for his decision.
The SDP on Thursday after its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid, dumping its presidential hopefuls, Jerry Gana and Donald Duke.
