Actress Joke Silva has said her husband and movie legend Olu Jacobs looks frail but he is still strong.
The 62-year-old said this to QEDNG on the red carpet of Toyin Abraham’s Malaika premiere in which she also talked about the couple playing husband and wife on set.
Joke said that the good thing about the couple playing husband and wife is that they are familiar with each other. She added that they play the husband and wife role written for the script and not their real-life activities as a couple.
She said: “The good thing is that we are familiar with each other, so that is good. Then we play the husband and wife that the script has written. We don’t bring our own husband and wife there. We play the truth of the script that we have been given.”
When asked about her husband’s wellbeing, she said: “He is doing good, strong. He looks frail but he is strong.”
