The management of singer Omah Lay has dismissed the report that the latter was planning on removing Grammy winner Burna Boy from his debut album.
Several media reported that the singer said he was going to remove Burna Boy from the album after a fan asked if the 30-year-old was still featured on the album.
“E dey but I go remove am,” Omah Lay replied.
The reply sparked reactions on social media, causing fans to wonder whether the music artistes are beefing, others speculated that it was due to the shooting involving Burna Boy’s police escorts.
However, according to TheCable Lifestyle on Wednesday, a source from Omah Lay’s team said the singer was joking about dropping Burna Boy from the album.
“There was never a misunderstanding between the both of them. Omah’s post on his stories was just for laughs,” the source said.
The singer’s debut album Boy Alone is set to drop on June 24.
