Singer Omawumi has called out an Instagram blog known as Site of Stars to take down a post about her on their page.
The 38-year-old shared a screenshot of the post on Instagram on Thursday.
She said she did not give them the permission to sell anything in connection to her.
“Take down my post from your website and page immediately @siteofstars. I do not recall giving you permission to sell anything in connection to me. Failure to do so will invite the full weight of the Law,” she wrote.
Omawumi’s call out comes shortly after movie director Kemi Adetiba threatened to take legal actions against the same blog.
Kemi said, “In the meantime… Please NOTE that I do NOT and will NEVER have ANY affiliation with @siteofstars or their affiliates. You deal with them to book me, or advertise with me… It is at your own peril.”
Site of Stars had on January 19 advertised their services with a picture of Omawumi.
Site of Stars is a blog who uses stories and pictures of celebrities to promote their services.
They have used other celebrities including Osita Iheme, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Nathaniel Bassey and Olamide.
