Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has responded to a critic who likened her arms to yams.
The mother-of-two on Friday made it clear that the comments do not bother her as she is in high demand by brands who pay her big bucks to endorse their products.
She wrote on Instagram, “I woke to a comment where a lady body shamed me. That my arms looks like Isu Ewura (water yam) Jesus! This arms that brands pays millions for to wear there cloths and advertise their business etc Lord I’m grateful…I have fat arms that brings fat account balance…”
The Ogun-native revealed her strategy for dealing with negative comments on social media on an interview with the Punch Newspapers published in January 2019
“As for the comments on Instagram, sometimes I just laugh and other times I respond to them. But while responding, I don’t sound bitter or angry, I just reply them playfully and make my point known.
“Those that seek cheap attention, I give them in full dose whenever I am in the mood. If my dressing and butts make people talk on Instagram, I will keep on rocking more of such and flaunting what I have got,” she explained.
