Actress Bidodun Okewo popularly known as Omoborty has warned critics to stop comparing her daughter’s achievements to Iyabo Ojo’s daughter Priscilla.
Bidoun and Iyabo’s daughters Ifeoluwa and Priscilla celebrated their birthdays on March 13. While Priscilla launched her mini handbag collection, Omoborty announced her 18-year-old daughter has acquired a new house.
The announcement caused reactions from fans who attributed the duo’s achievement to their mother’s roles in their lives.
However, in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Bidoun addressed those who claimed her daughter’s new house was a publicity stunt aimed at making her colleagues jealous. She also warned against making comparisons with others.
“Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for the prayers, posts and gifts. They are not taken for granted. We love you. Ifeoluwa Is sending her greetings too!
“Note to some people saying the house is a publicity stunt and tensioning. If you know me well I don’t tension people neither do I involve in publicity stunts… This is a prayer answered by God. So I owe Him a public testimony….
“You all will be here to see how the house is being to put to use. Rejoice with people when they celebrate and watch God bless you too. Stop the shades! And Please stop the comparison too. I beg you all,” she wrote.
