Newly wedded social media influencer Japhet Omojuwa has met with the chairman of Lagos Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo.
Mr Omojuwa, who got married to his sweetheart Demilade nee Odu last month, posted photos of his meeting with MC Oluomo on Twitter on Friday.
Bracing for the knocks he would get from MC Oluomo’s critics, the social commentator wrote, “Your enemies aren’t my enemies! You aren’t important enough for that.”
He added, “I spent ample time with the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya. Oba. MC Oluomo. People fear & hate who they don’t know, I simply move closer for a better perspective!”
MC Oluomo on Thursday announced the introduction of a bar code to checkmate untoward activities among commercial bus drivers.
According to him, the initiative will curb kidnappings and other criminal activities perpetrated by some commercial bus drivers.
Shedding more light, Lagos State Parks and Garages secretary, Olayiwola Lemboye, said commuters would download an app and scan the bar code on buses to confirm if they are safe for boarding.
“Once you scan the bar code on any bus, it will bring out certain information about the park or garage for commuters to determine if the bus is safe for boarding or not. For those who usually forget their ‘loads’ in the bus, the code will help passengers recollect the vehicle’s number plate and trace it to the park or garage such vehicle operates from,” he said.
