Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, has celebrated actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, who played her husband in 2019 movie, Love is War, as he turns 59.
The 42-year-old who also produced the movie, shared the message on Instagram on Monday.
She wrote, “Happy birthday Mr Philips @mofedamijo. We are so honoured @dvefilms to have worked with a legend like you on not just one but two projects. Mr Omene in Okafor’s Law and Mr Philips in Love Is War.”
Other Nollywood stars like Joke Silva, Ramsey Nouah and Kate Henshaw, also paid tribute to the award-winning actor.
Joke wrote, “Fine boy Happy Birthday.”
While Ramsey, who was his co-star in the 2014 movie, 30 Days in Atlanta, described him as ‘correct vintage wine,’ and thanked him for blessing the industry with his talent.
“Happy birthday to the iconic RMD @mofedamijo. One of the oracles in the industry. Correct Vintage wine. Thank you for blessing us with your talent. ..,” he wrote.
And Kate hailed him as ‘her very own big bros’ and prayed the blessings of God upon him.
She wrote, “My own Big Bros @mofedamijo’Who like leke tell before e comot. Motown owidemi. Age ain’t nothing on you. Blessings of the Lord Most High upon you today and always. Lots of love. Happy birthday…”
On Saturday Richard joked that he would post 59 pictures on Instagram to celebrate his 59th birthday.
Then on Sunday, his asked his followers if it was even possible to post that number of pictures in one day.
“So, I’m hearing i cannot post 59 pictures in one day on Instagram, please is this true?” he asked.
