Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli, on Wednesday expressed frustration at area boys disrupting her movie set in Lagos State.
She said this happens despite paying extravagant sums to settle the social miscreants.
In a series of messages posted on Instagram and Twitter, the Okafor’s Law filmmaker alleged area boys broke a bottle to stab her crew while the key to a van was stolen.
Declaring that “I am totally fed up, Omoni argued that she should not have to deal with the problems caused by the area boys as she is a tax paying citizen of Lagos state.
Omoni Oboli earlier Wednesday morning said she was busy on set and that something major was coming our way.
Her set has however been disrupted by area boys and shooting has stopped.
This does not seem to be a one-time thing as she said she has had to deal with area boys everyday on set.
Imploring Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to look into the issue, the Wives on Strike actress said entertainers contribute immensely to the economy of the state.
This is what is going on my set right now!!! Why can’t I work on peace in Lagos? Someone should help me tell the governor! #FedUp pic.twitter.com/xpKG9g0Ci7
