Actress Omoni Oboli on Monday penned down a touching tribute to her late mum to celebrate her.
The 43-year-old shared the message on Instagram.
The mother of three said she misses her mum and wishes she was still alive.
“There are days I miss my mom so much. This picture reminds me so much of her (this is my picture not hers) Can someone tell my mom to come back? I want to spoil her silly! I want to show her the world! I want to give her everything she deprived herself of just so we could be good.”
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress said that her world crumbled when her dad died.
“My world crumbled when my dad passed. The next day I drove into Benin. I went to see him at the Morgue. Have you ever seen a dead body? You just know that they are no more there. It’s a shell. We all like to look good, at the end of the day this body is a shell. I saw my dad, I saw my mom and you just know the person you know and love is gone.
“They call my dad mobility that’s like his nickname. I said ‘Mobility how could you do this to me’? I just kept thinking what am I going to do? How am I ever going to get back from this?” she said.
