Omoni Oboli’s movie Love In Every Word removed from YouTube over copyright claim

Actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli’s latest movie, Love In Every Word, has been taken down from her official YouTube channel following a copyright claim.

The romantic drama, which premiered on March 7, 2025, quickly gained traction, surpassing over five million views in just three days—Oboli’s highest-streamed film on the platform.

However, by Tuesday, March 11, viewers were unable to access the movie, as a notice on YouTube indicated it had been removed due to a copyright claim by Chinonso Obiora (Skyberry).

Produced by Omoni Oboli and written by Mfon-Abasi Inyang, Love In Every Word explores themes of love, emotional resilience and communication in relationships.

It stars BBNaija alum Bam Bam and actor Uzor Arukwe, among others.

Oboli had celebrated the movie’s success in a March 10 post on X, thanking fans and cast members for their support.

However, the sudden removal has sparked confusion and outrage, with many social media users questioning the copyright claim.

“How can people be this wicked? How do you claim rights to something that isn’t yours?” tweeted Enoch Owolabi, whose post about the takedown went viral.

Others, including Tabby Daizy and King Morgan, described the situation as “heartbreaking” and speculated on whether Oboli had encountered legal hurdles regarding copyright protection.

Neither Oboli nor the claimant has publicly addressed the situation as of the time of this report.
