Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has celebrated her husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde, on World Pilots Day.
The 42-year-old shared the message on Instagram on Monday.
She wrote, “Happy #worldPilotday! Better late than never. Lol… Have never heard of this till today. To one of the best pilots, Africa has produced…“
The couple, who have four children, got married aboard a flight from Lagos to Benin in 2001.
The idea of World Pilots Day, which is celebrated on April 26, was conceived Turkish Airline Pilots’ Association in 2014.
April 26 was chosen as it marks the maiden flight of Fesa Evrensev, who was Turkey’s first pilot.
