Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, and showbiz investor, Steve Babaeko, were speakers on the first African panel held on the main stage of the Cannes Lions festival.
The 41-year-old movie star revealed this in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“Nice outing today … After 66years running …. An African panel on the @cannes_lions Main stage. Welldone #Batamedia and @extremeideas . #TheAuthenticAfricanStory #rockingmyownhair,” she wrote.
Mr Babaeko also spoke about the achievement in an Instagram post: “We broke a glass ceiling today, the first African panel to grace #CannesLions main stage. We made a strong case for authentic african story. Thank you to @hisfabness and @maiatafo for putting my look together. #TeamAfrica #TeamX3M.”
