Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has thrown her weight behind the proposed anti-tribal bill by controversy Dino Melaye the senator representing Kogi West.
Melaye on Sunday posted the picture of a toddler with fresh tribal marks on his face on Twitter, declaring “This barbaric act must stop”.

The picture generated huge reactions and conversations, with many social media users calling for the ban on the old cultural practice.
Omotola, a mother-of-four, took over on Monday with a message on Instagram urging her followers to support a bill against a permanent/life impairing decision on behalf of a child.
