The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has suspended Jumoke Anifowose, daughter of the first civilian governor of the state Adekunle Ajasin, with immediate effect.
Spokesperson of the party in Ondo Alex Kalejaiye confirmed her suspension on Wednesday, according to Channels TV.
Her suspension was contained in a letter signed by 25 out of the 29 officers of the party at a meeting in Igboroko Unit 1, Ward 2 in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo.
Mrs Anifowose was suspended for alleged anti-party activities, it was gathered.
The letter also stated that she has not been attending party meetings in the last four years.
She was a governorship aspirant in the last election in Ondo.
