Business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim, who was until Wednesday candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ondo governorship election, has launched a last minute campaign for Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Appeal Court had sacked Ibrahim in favour of Eyitayo Jegede as the rightful candidate of the PDP to which incumbent Governor Olusegun Mimiko belongs.
Ibrahim belongs to the Ali Modu- Sheriff faction of the PDP while Jegede is of Ahmed Makarfi.
Following his disqualification, Ibrahim on Friday launched a campaign for the former Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on Twitter, describing him as a man of integrity.
I can see #OndoLoveAkeredolu everywhere. Why won’t the people of Ondo Love Aketi? He’s a consistent politician with first class integrity.
