Secretary to Ondo State Government, Ifedayo Abegunde, has resigned his appointment.
Popularly known as Abena, the SSG tendered his resignation letter on Monday.
“I have left Akeredolu’s government through a resignation letter effective today,” he told The Nation.
Mr Abegunde is expected to hold a press briefing later in the day.
Ondo government has been riddled with crisis lately with the deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi, leaving the ruling party for the opposition.
Reports suggest Abegunde left the current administration to contest as a running mate to a governorship aspirant, Segun Abraham.
