Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, proved his latest the national team invite isn’t for fun with another convincing performance for Galatasaray on Monday.
The 20-year-old, on loan from Everton, made the 24-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles next month.
Onyekuru didn’t make the cut to last summer’s World Cup in Russia due to fitness concerns.
However, the ex-Eupen speedster is showing good signs in Turkey.
The Nigerian notched Gala’s final goal in the 6-0 rout of Alanyaspor.
Fernando opened the scoring for the Istanbul giants followed by Sinan Gumus, Eren Derdiyuk and Emre Akbaba brace.
Onyekuru took to Twitter to celebrate the victory.
A fantastic team win! Couldn’t dream of a better result. Happy with my goal as well. ⚽ All glory be to God! Can’t wait for the next one! pic.twitter.com/Q4fuVyt46N
