Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi on Thursday celebrated his teenage daughter Adewamiwa on her 16th birthday.
This came two days after he celebrated another daughter of his Erelu Olajumoke Adenola whom he described as “dependable, strong and loving.”
The monarch, who wrote entirely in Yoruba, prayed for Adewamiwa in his Instagram post on Thursday that God would preserve her life and that she would be great in comfort.
“Birthday celebrant, Adewamiwa the daughter of Onirisa, lucky child, merciful person, I thank God for your life from the day you came to earth till now.
“God will preserve you for us, you will live long, you will spend your time in comfort, you are 16 years old today, God will preserve your life for me, you will live and do great things in comfort. So you will be there!! Lots of love from Daddy,” his translated post read.
Oba Ogunwusi has several children. Last year, he celebrated Princess Adebukunmi Adeife on her first birthday. The child is believed to be his.
The Ooni has another older daughter, Princess Adeola, whom he had in his teenage years from his relationship with Omolara Olatubosun and a son, Prince Tadenikawo, from his ex-wife, Naomi Silekunola.
