Olori Ashley folasade, the fourth wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has expressed gratitude to her husband and testified to God’s faithfulness in her life.

In a video from what appeared to be her son’s naming ceremony, Olori Ashley showered praises on the Ooni, describing him as an “amazing soul” who gave her the greatest gift—their son, Ademakinwa.

She noted how the monarch gave her the greatest gift, which is their son, Ademakinwa.

The mother of two reflected on God’s goodness over her family, rejoicing over the health of her husband and their over five-month-old son.

“I am thanking God for everything He has done in my life. I promised Him that when I have a baby, I will sing a special song to Him in front of people,” she said.

In another clip from the event, she sang a special song in gratitude, hinting at the challenges she and the monarch had faced.

“If you know my history with my husband, you will understand this song and its meaning.

“You didn’t just make me give birth; my husband is hale and hearty, I am also healthy, and our baby is hale and hearty, too. Lord, I am grateful.”

The couple welcomed their son in September 2024. Reflecting on their journey, Olori Ashley revealed that they had faced obstacles in their relationship for over a decade but remained victorious. She also disclosed that they lost a set of twins last year but held on to their faith.

Following the birth of her son, she addressed criticism over calling him a “crown prince,” clarifying that he is a prince from both her lineage and his father’s.

Olori Ashley officially became the Ooni’s fourth wife in October 2023.
