The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi will on Friday, November 30 welcome music stars including Olu Maintain, Eedris Abdulkareem and Tony Tetuila to Ile-Ife in Osun State.
A statement from the Ooni’s palace made available to Qed.ng disclose that the artistes are coming for the maiden edition of the THROWBACK CONCERT scheduled to hold at Ife Grand Resort Leisure in Ile-Ife.
Other musicians expected to perform are Tony Tetuila, Azadus, Paul Play Dairo, Lord of Ajasa Jazzman Olofin, Adx Artquake and DJ Charlieshee and Rugged Man.
Comedians Kofi and Kenny Blaq will perform stand-up at the event.
Project Director Adx Artquake explained that the music festival was conceptualised to annually bring youths together in fulfilment of the Ooni’s vision of having youths involved in the affairs of the country.
He described Oba Adeyeye as “undoubtedly the most news-making king in Nigeria today who is well-loved by the youths irrespective of ethnicity and religion.”
