Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi on Saturday welcomed a set of twins with one of his wives Olori Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi.
Olori Tobi is the third of the six wives taken by the first-class monarch in 2022.
The palace disclosed the news of the children’s birth on the Ooni’s Instagram page.
“To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire house of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba who today birthed a prince and princess to the royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty,” the post read.

Oba Ogunwusi married Olori Tobi, a former beauty queen, in October 2022 while picking his new set of wives after some unsuccessful attempts.
Their wedding came nearly four years after it was reported that the traditional ruler was set to marry her following his divorce from Wuraola Otiti.
