Olori Folasade Adegoke-Ogunwusi, one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has disclosed her son’s name.
The boy was born on September 3 at Princess Royal Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
On Thursday, the queen shared a video of her son’s naming ceremony on Instagram.
Revealing his name, she wrote, “And he shall be called ADEMAKINWA (The CROWN has brought forth a warrior to the throne of our forefathers).
“ADEFIMIHAN (The CROWN has revealed me and showed me forth on the throne of my forefathers)
“ADEBIYI (The CROWN has birthed me on the throne of my forefathers)
“FOLADADE (I have brought wealth and honor to wear my future destined CROWN).
“ADEWALE (The CROWN has finally arrived and returned home).”
Olori Folasade thanked her co-wives for their help and prayed for them.
The queen drew criticism when she referred to her son as the crown prince in an Instagram post announcing the child’s birth.
Her critics reminded her that the king’s first son was Tadenikawo born by the Ooni’s former wife Naomi, and then Oreade recently born by Olori Tobi.
But she insisted in another post on Instagram that a mother must call her children what she wants them to become.
Oba Ogunwusi married Olori Folasade as his fourth wife in October 2022.
