Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi on Tuesday shared photos from his fifth coronation anniversary.
The monarch said in his social media post that he was glad he spent the day (Monday) with the youths.
“I was glad and fulfilled as I celebrated my day with my sons and daughters all across the nation.
“My commitment to you the youths of Nigeria are uncompromised, whatever door you need open, I am ready and able to bring them down on your behalf,” he wrote.
The Ooni added that five years on the throne of his fathers have been “a journey of grace through the guidance of the Almighty.”
Big Brother Naija star Seyi Awolowo was part of the youth who spent the day with the Ooni.
As part of activities marking the anniversary, the revered monarch will on Wednesday spend time with children.
The celebration will climax on Sunday with a thanksgigving service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ayegbaju in Ile-Ife.
